Tina is Managing Director of her family business, Holdcroft Heating & Gas Fitting Ltd. Holdcrofts specialise in boiler replacement, boiler repair and maintenance across Staffordshire and Cheshire. Tina and her husband Steve started the business from scratch more than 30 years ago.
Whilst they have had some difficult and challenging issues to cope with along the way, Holdcrofts have grown to employ 48 permanent staff including their two sons, Steve and Matt, and a number of apprentices. Holdcrofts partner with Achieve to provide support for their apprentices and also to provide courses in staff supervision and management as their staff develop and progress their careers.
A long history of charitable fundraising was topped in 2020 when the Holdcroft family raised £30,000 for five local charities: the Douglas MacMillan Hospice, The Donna Louise Trust, Realise, Alice and North Staffs Mind.
Tina is a lightening quick and creative thinker with the ability to make connections between people and businesses. Her fast moving, responsive approach and listening ear are all proving valuable to the Symmetrical Board. We are building a mix of skills to form an effective Board that will actively support young people leaving care for the long term.
Tina is also active in her local community and championed a project involving local families working with established ceramic artists and local businesses (Valentine Clays and Emma Bailey Studios) to produce a sculpture that celebrates happy memories of lockdown.
